Alcove Home Management (“Alcove,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a home operations management company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our members, prospective clients, preferred partners, and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit getalcovehome.com (the “Site”), submit an inquiry, enroll as a member, or communicate with us by any means, including by telephone, email, or text message (SMS).

By using our Site or services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

  • Schedule and coordinate vendor services on your behalf

4. Text Message (SMS) Communications & TCR Compliance

Important Notice Regarding Text Messaging: Alcove may contact you via SMS/text message for service updates, appointment confirmations, maintenance alerts, and, where separately consented, marketing messages. By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the terms described in this section.

The Campaign Registry (TCR) Registration: Alcove’s text messaging program is registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) in compliance with wireless carrier requirements for Application-to-Person (A2P) 10-digit long code (10DLC) messaging. Our messaging campaigns are designed to ensure deliverability and compliance with carrier guidelines.

Types of Text Messages We May Send:

  • Transactional/Service Messages: Appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, vendor arrival notices, maintenance reminders, service completion notifications, and account alerts. These may be sent without separate marketing consent as they relate to services you have requested.
  • Marketing Messages: Promotional offers, membership updates, and service announcements. These are sent only with your express written consent.

Consent: By submitting your phone number through our website forms or verbally providing consent, you agree to receive text messages from Alcove at the number provided. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent as needed in connection with your service. Marketing messages are sent no more than 4 times per month unless otherwise disclosed at the time of opt-in.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Alcove does not charge separately for text messages.

How to Opt Out: To stop receiving text messages from Alcove at any time, reply STOP to any text message we send you. You may also opt out by emailing info@getalcovehome.com or calling (434) 443-8485. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. Opting out of marketing messages will not affect transactional service messages unless you request complete opt-out from all communications.

Supported Carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier availability may vary.

No Mobile Information Sharing: Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. This data is used solely to send the message type for which consent was obtained.

5. Telephone Communications (TCPA)

When you provide your telephone number, you may receive calls from Alcove regarding your service, membership, or inquiry. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and do not use automated dialing systems or pre-recorded messages without appropriate consent. You may request to be removed from our call list at any time by contacting us at info@getalcovehome.com.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Preferred Partners: We share relevant property information and service requests with our vetted vendor partners solely to coordinate and deliver services you have requested. Partners are contractually prohibited from using this information for any other purpose.
  • Service Providers: We engage third-party providers to help operate our business (e.g., scheduling software, email platforms, payment processors). These providers access your data only as needed to perform their services.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our Site.

7. Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

If you are a Virginia resident, you have the following rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act:

  • Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal data we have collected about you.
  • Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a portable, readily usable format.
